Top Canadian Country Songs – February 27 to March 5, 2018

Brett Kissel Playing the Guitar

Seriously. The top Canadian country music songs for this week are exactly the same as last week’s. We may as well just copy and paste the exact same post from last week. Aaron Goodvin continues to dominate the world!

Aaron Goodvin just refuses to share his spots on the charts (but can you really blame him? The view is so good at the top!).

Brett Kissel – Anthem

Not sure about you, but we’re really not mad that this single from Brett Kissel continues to dominate on the charts. The fact that this songs sounds so different from his usual sound is what really makes this single so good! Have you seen the music video yet? It looks like Joe Jonas makes a cameo (but this is TOTALLY unverified… there’s just a dude in the background that looks like him). Do you think it’s him?

Aaron Goodvin – Lonely Drum

Since Aaron’s Lonely Drum has been on the charts for 65 year, we literally have nothing else to say about this single. Check it out. It’s really good!

The Reklaws – Long Live The Night

This is week 2 on the charts for the sibling duo named The Reklaws‘ single Long Live The Night. It’s SO great to see them here! They’ve been working so hard ever since winning the Boots & Hearts Emerging Artists Showcase back in 2013. We remember that win well – the energy in the crowd was so electrifying! Check out the audio to their latest single.

Aaron Goodvin – Miss Me Yet

Another week at the top for Aaron Goodvin’s single Miss Me Yet. Similar to Lonely Drum, this song has pulled up to the charts and just been parked here ever since. Check out his acoustic version of this song that he performed in the CISN studios.

Meghan Patrick – Country Music Made Me Do It

Meghan Patrick is enjoying another week at the top with her single Country Music Made Me Do It. We’ve said it once, we’ll say it again – this song is amazing! The whole album is pure perfection. Check out Meghan performing an acoustic version of her hit single at CISN in Edmonton.

These top 5 Canadian country songs for the week have been added to the Top Canadian Country Music playlist on Spotify. Subscribe to this playlist, it gets updated every week with top Canadian country songs – both in sales and in radio airplay.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
