Canadian country artist Olivia Rose has released a brand new single and she wants us to feel that “Gold” connection.
Olivia Rose has blessed us with this amazing new upbeat song about finding the perfect guy. Which in the song is referred to as “Gold”. This song will be embedded into your head with its catchy feels.
Olivia Rose grew up in the small town of Elk Point, Alberta and now lives in Edmonton. “Gold” is her first single of 2021 and comes after her 2019 hit single “Put It Like That” which earned her a sizeable amount of streams. Olivia Rose cowrote “Gold” with David Borys (Wes Mack, Kadooh).
She acquired her first big break at the age of 14 when fellow Canadian Country artist George Canyon invited her on stage to perform her debut single.
Olivia is force to be reckoned with. She is a two time Rising Star winner with the Edmonton Music Awards and is nominated for another Rising Star award at the 10th Annual Country Music Alberta Awards which can be seen on YouTube on February 28th.
Olivia is not only an amazing talented singer but she is also very pleasurable, easy going, and always willing to take time to talk to her fans and snap some pictures.
I first caught up with her during CCMA Week in Calgary, Alberta in September of 2019. I was able to catch one of her acoustic shows and was absolutely blown away by her raw talent and amazing voice.
The lyrics in “Gold” tell a story about how amazing it is to find that special someone who’s perfect and makes life feel like a new rush of energy and happiness. This is an easy song to sing along to and have a personal vibe with. It’s full of laugher, excitement and just screams TRUE LOVE.
This song is not only for finding that special someone but also shows us how amazing life can be with having someone like a best friend to connect with and share feelings and memories with.
That “Gold” feeling works in many ways and can be interpreted different for everyone. She wanted to create something special and the end result was astonishing.
We truly can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future.
