Emerging country artist Brett Westgrove has released a music video for his latest single “On My Way To You”. This song is a total earworm and will easily get stuck in your head – it’s sure to turn some heads and get him further exposure.

Okay – now that you’ve seen it, we can start talking about it. The production quality of this video is shockingly high for an emerging artist. It’s definitely not the norm, and was a really nice surprise! There’s a lot going on in the video in terms of the cinematography, which makes it really hard to look away. Your attention is grabbed throughout the entire video.
The little pops of lyrics coming across the screen makes this a really effective cross between lyric video and music video. While the story is a little tough to follow, the visual elements, the cinematography and Brett’s presence help pull it together and gives us a sense for how we are supposed to feel throughout the video. And that feeling – is pure happiness.
The couple featured in this video are just so adorable, that’s impossible not to smile when you see them dancing together. Gives us all the feels – every last one of the feels. At the end of the video it’s revealed that the video is dedicated to this couple’s 5 year anniversary, which just makes it all the cuter.
Another reason we smiled throughout the entire video was due to Brett himself. It’s hard not to smile when you watch Brett Westgrove recording and performing in this video. It’s obvious that he loves what he does! He seems so comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and behind the mic. Not all newer artists can pull it off as easily as Brett seems to.
We’ve said it in previous posts, but some music videos can be cringeworthy, but it’s so refreshing to say that “On My Way To You” Is not cringey at all! It’s the exact opposite. It’s so fun and a treat to watch.
Who is Brett Westgrove?
Brett Westgrove is a really impressive, and interesting country artist. He’s likely the only legit rocket scientist in all of country music. Yep – we said ROCKET SCIENTIST! he earned a Master’s Degree in Aerospace engineering, from the University of Colorado and worked as a spacecraft controller for NASA space missions (for real).
From a young age, Brett was always keen on music and had an ear for it. Singing since he could talk, playing piano at 2, and then learning the guitar at 10. It’s clear that music runs through his blood
It may seem like he was on his way to having it made as an astronaut, but music has a funny way of creeping into your life. After graduation he realized that he was never meant to do anything but bring music to the world. Thank Goodness for that realization, because he’s crushing it!
