Kalsey Kulyk’s latest single, “Love Me Like an Outlaw,” is currently sitting at #27 at Canadian country radio, and is still climbing.
Clenching two of the top three coveted radio programs, Rogers One To Watch and Stingray Trending Track, “Love Me Like An Outlaw” has garnered support from country radio, fans, and industry across Canada.
“Love Me Like an Outlaw” follows the release of the earlier 2023 single “Ain’t Enough Whiskey”.
Transporting To A Western Love Story
“Love Me Like An Outlaw” immediately transports listeners to a hazy western dream. Falling in love with a cowboy who you know may up and leave at any time, paired with the danger of the life of an outlaw makes for an interesting story.
Just listening to the song is such an experience. The lyrics are so illustrative, it really sets a mood and the landscape for a deep, desperate love.
“If you’re gonna love me, love me like an outlaw” is tempting the cowboy to settle down and change his ways.
“Love Me Like An Outlaw” is unique to say the least, with traditional elements and a contemporary production. It’s great to see such a classic leaning independent single climbing the charts at radio.

“I’m really excited about the music that I have now. I feel it really encompasses everything about me and who I am, and what I want to give to my audience. I grew up around a lot of old school and ‘90’s country music – Lee Ann Womack, John Prine, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Emmylou Harris, Jason Isbell – and I think that sound and spirit can be heard in the overall style of my music.”
