Lucas Mason grew up in a musical household – so much so that his brother is part of his band. It wasn’t until he was bound and determined to get on stage with Zach Bryan, and it actually happening, that he began to crave a career performing.
Lucas released his debut EP in January titled Almost 18, where he dives into the feelings and frustrations of being, well, 18.
It all started when Lucas went viral on TikTok for his performance at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto with Zach Bryan on the Quittin’ Time tour. In 2024, he wrote his first songs, played his first live shows, including the North of Nowhere Music Festival, and released his first EP.

Our chat with Lucas was a reminder of just how long ago high school was for our entire team (sigh).
Now, Lucas is working on more music and has released his brand new single “Messed Up Kid”.
