What a week! The top country songs in Canada this week includes a new one from Brett Kissel (and it’s an amazing song, by the way). But the big winner this week is Aaron Goodvin with two songs in the top spot for music sales.
We’re guessing Aaron Goodvin is having a couple beers to celebrate his big week – can you really blame him though? He’s relatively new to the scene, and already seeing great success.
Aaron Goodvin – Lonely Drum
This song has been on the charts of top selling country singles for a million years now. This is really exciting news for Aaron, and we couldn’t be happier for him. But seriously, it’s time to see some new singles come out on top. Although as we say this, the song is playing on the porch right now, and we’re all totally singing along… so I guess it makes sense that this song continues to be on the top.
Brett Kissel – Anthem
New song alert! Brett Kissel has released his new song Anthem. This is such a departure for Brett, and it works so well. When we heard this song on the radio, we had to Shazam it. We thought the voice sounded like Brett Kissel, but thought it had to be someone else. We’re going to do a full review of the single and the music video, so keep your eyes open for that. Meghan Patrick – Country Music Made Me Do It
Another big week for Ontario native Meghan Patrick. Her single Country Music Made Me Do It has been killing it on the charts in terms of sales and airplay. Fans are loving it, and radio stations love playing it. It sounds really great on the radio! Way to go Meghan – keep goin’ girl!
Aaron Goodvin – Miss Me Yet
The latest from Aaron Goodvin has already become of the top selling country music singles in Canada. This shouldn’t be much of a surprise though. His last few singles enjoyed a number of weeks on the top seller charts, with Lonely Drum still on that chart. It’s nice to hear a bit of a slower song from Aaron! It compliments Lonely Drum really nicely and showcases a nice range from the Alberta man. Check out the lyric video for this single.
