Leanne Pearson’s energized single “Checkin’ Out Your Truck” is a down home song with some edge to it.
This song was written by Leanne and with the help of Phil Barton and Kris Bergsnes.
Leanne hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba but left the frigid winters to relocate to music city Nashville, TN where she had her music featured on an episode of Property Brothers.
The whole episode touched on Leanne and her fiancé purchasing their home and renovating it, her music career was also spotlighted during the episode.
The single “Checkin’ Out Your Truck” shows us how much Leanne loves her trucks, which was a huge inspiration for this song. Emerson Drives’ Danick Dupelle had the honor of producing this upbeat, get stuck in your head song. David Kalmusky whom is a multi-platinum producer mastered the track.
Leanne’s Female Artist Of The Year award in 2018 at the Manitoba Country Music Awards was just the beginning of her winning streak. The following year her album “Pull It Off” won Album Of The Year as well as snagged Music Video Of The Year for “Hot Pursuit”.
Leanne always has a smile on her face and is always willing to take time to meet her fans, snap some pictures and sign some autographs. During these unprecedented times she has been back at her family home in Winnipeg missing her fiancé Jordan and her cat Winnie who are back in Nashville awaiting her return.
Every summer Leanne is a frequent performer at Dauphin’s Countryfest in Dauphin, Manitoba with the exception of this year due to COVID postponing our summer festival season. She can’t wait to jump back up on stage and resume doing what she loves doing best.
