Big & Rich

Big & Rich are now headlining the Big Sky Music Festival

After announcing that Alabama would not be able to play the Big Sky Music Festival due to medical reasons, Republic Live announced that country legends Big & Rich will be stepping in to fill their boots.

While it’s really disappointing not to see Alabama playing at the festival this year, it’s really exciting to get the chance to see Big & Rich. They’re certainly going to be giving it their all – and you know people are going to go crazy as soon as “Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy” comes on!

Announcement from Republic Live

We are proud to announce the addition of Big & Rich to our inaugural Big Sky Music Festival, this Saturday at Burl’s Creek. We were fortunate enough to have them at our first year of Boots & Hearts, with a performance that wow’ed the party crowd and undoubtedly will be a memorable first-year for country music fans at Big Sky. It’s going to be a BIG weekend with Big & Rich joining Travis Tritt, Diamond Rio, Mason Ramsey & more on July 20th. We thank fans for their patience and understanding as we heard the news of Alabama’s cancellation earlier this morning, in honour of our dedication to our country fans, we look forward to welcoming Big & Rich and carrying on with a day of cars, camping & country music at Big Sky Music Festival.

Travis Tritt

Travis Tritt Playing the guitar

One of the most decorated artists of all time, Travis Tritt has a career that spans almost 3 decades. This GRAMMY award-winning artist continues to sell-out shows and remain relevant in this fast-paced environment.

Out of his 11 studio-albums he released, 7 have been certified platinum. His career so far has produced millions in album sales, two Grammy award wins and multiple No. 1 singles on the Country radio charts.

Some of his top songs include: “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Here’s A Quarter” and “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive”, and so many more.

We can’t wait to see Travis Tritt take the Big Sky Music Festival stage this Summer.

Diamond Rio

Classic country band Diamond Rio

If Alabama was the country band of the 80s, Diamond Rio was unmistakably the country band of the 90s. In fact, in 1991 they became the first country band to have their debut single reach number 1 on the charts.

The band has sold more than 10 million albums, won a Grammy Award, a Dove Award, six Vocal Group of the Year wins (CMA and ACM), earned five multi-week no. 1 singles, 22 Top 10 singles, three certified Platinum and five gold albums.

Since 1991, Diamond Rio has had 32 more singles chart on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart including: “Meet in the Middle”, “One More Day”, “I Believe”, and many others.

We can’t wait to witness the harmonies that this group have become so famous for. It’s going to be a great day!

Mason Ramsey

YouTube Yodelling Viral Star Mason Ramsey Performs at Big Sky Music Festival

This pint-sized, viral yodelling YouTube star has had quite the year! In 2018, a video surfaced online of this little man yodelling Hank Williams’ Lovesick Blues in the aisles of a Walmart. He was literally an overnight superstar with appearances on Ellen, and all sorts of TV talk shows. Almost immediately, he was signed to Big Loud Records.

Since then he has been touring around, and will be joining the lineup for the inaugural Big Sky Music Festival. It’s going to be so fun to see this young man showcase his big voice on the main stage. In case you somehow missed it, here’s the video that shot him to fame.

Jason McCoy

Jason McCoy is set to host the 2019 CMAO Awards

It’s almost a no-brainer to have Jason McCoy join this fantastic lineup. Being a local staple in the community, and one of the morning hosts on Kicx 106, we’re surprised he wasn’t enlisted to be part of the initial announcement of this festival. This Summer is going to be a busy one for this country guy! Not only is he performing at this festival, but he’s also the host for the 2019 CMAO Awards in Ottawa.

We can’t wait to see Jason McCoy performing in Oro-Medonte!

The Redhill Valleys

The Redhill Valleys will be joining the lineup for the 2019 Big Sky Music Festival. According to the CMAO, “We can tell you all that this is a group that you should be paying attention to. From Hamilton to Toronto and across the province, you owe it to yourself to keep an eye out for tour dates near you.”

They are incredibly talented and put on one hell of a show! We can’t wait to see them perform this Summer.

We’re so excited for the 2019 Big Sky Music Festival. Be sure to keep your eyes out for more updates about this festival. We’ll update this page with all the latest news.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
