Canadian country artist Jess Moskaluke is up to something… and it’s BIG. She has given out her phone number and asking fans to text her for a surprise.
On May 29th, she sent out a post on Instagram asking her fans to send her a text with their email address and they will receive a surprise from her. This was the post:
This has already been one of the most successful posts on Jess’ Instagram account. We wouldn’t say it has gone viral… but it’s definitely made some noise among fans and the industry. A number of concerned fans have actually sent her a DM and commented on the post assuming she has been hacked, since she “would never want to give our her personal phone number”. To which she responds with an adorable IG Story of herself with the caption “See? Still me” and another saying “Not hacked!”.
Just scrolling through the comments you can see that her fans are going nuts over this! They’re both excited to see what the surprise is, and some are expressing concern that she would give out her phone number.
Side note: we’re going to go out on a limb and say this likely isn’t her personal phone number – but a temporary number set up by her PR and management team. duh.
It is a convincing phone number though. We all know Jess Moskaluke is from Saskatchewan, which is where this phone number is registered. But doing some sleuth work on the phone number itself, we have discovered that it is a landline that was setup by Iristel Inc. and is located in Regina (not where Jess lives).
It’s being reported that Jess has received close to 1,000 texts, so if you haven’t received your surprise yet, fear not! They’re just dealing with the sheer volume.
Obviously, we sent a text to the number and are now impatiently waiting to receive this mystical surprise. We want it NOW! We’ll update you as soon as we receive it!
