This has been another great week in Canadian country music! On this week’s top selling songs, we see a couple of returning tracks, and a newer song from Endless Summer When You Say Nothing At All.
With today being Blue Monday (apparently the most depressing day of the year), these songs are totally fitting. There’s a couple of really fun and upbeat songs that help combat the depression of the day and take your mind off the cold and darkness.

This is the second week in a row where Brett Kissel had the number one top selling single in Canada. This single has really been resonating with audiences, and has the perfect pick-me-up beat to help escape the Winter blues. Aaron Goodvin – Lonely Drum
Another week on the charts as the second top selling single on the charts in Canada. This is a really fun song from Aaron Goodvin, and (in our opinion) his breakthrough single that put him on the map in Canadian Country Music. With over 2 million lifetime plays on Spotify, it’s obvious that this song has really blown up for him. Take a look at his lyric video for Lonely Drum.
Endless Summer – When You Say Nothing At All
We’re having a moment here… This is obviously old news, but we just put two and two together. Endless Summer is a Canadian group consisting of Bob and Clint Moffatt. As in the boy band from the late 90s, THE MOFFATTS!!! They’ve come a long way from the long brown hair with blond bangs. We think this look suits them much better! The switch to country music for these brothers works really well for them. Check out this acoustic version of their hit single When You Say Nothing At All.
Hunter Brothers – Born & Raised
What the random music video is this? There doesn’t seem to be much of a story to it, just really stereotypical country scenes. But the music video aside, this song by the Hunter Brothers is really great. All the imagery in the song that just makes you long for that small town life. The lyric that really stands out is “Somewhere that shooting star points me to where you are”.
