“Wait On Me” by Lisa Nicole is a great single that gives us an inside look at the life of an artist on the road and what it’s like to leave a loved one behind. The song walks us through the emotions of life on a road and asking a loved one to wait for them while they’re away.

“Wait on Me” – written in Nashville by Lisa Nicole, Jason Thomas, and Dave Pahanish – is the debut single from her upcoming fall album, Where the Wild Hearts Beat. The music video was directed by Cliff Hokanson. It’s a really great music video that makes you go “awww” at many parts throughout it. This video compliments the single so well! About Lisa Nicole
From British Columbia, Lisa Nicole grew up hunting, fishing, camping and embracing country music. Growing up, her influences included Shania Twain, Martina McBride, and the Dixie Chicks. She discovered her own love of singing at the age of 8. By 15, she was playing regular jam sessions at Kootenay-area bars, which required being escorted because of her age.
In 2013, Lisa made a strong entrance into the Canadian country music industry with her debut EP, It Got Ugly and a showcase at the 2013 Canadian Country Music Awards. Industry recognition followed with 2014 BC Country Music Association Award nominations for the Ray McAuley Horizon Award and Music Video of the Year.
Eager to immerse herself in the creative hub of Music City, Lisa embarked on extended songwriting adventure in Nashville for the spring of 2018 – an experience that empowered her with fresh inspiration and new creative energy.
After performing as part of 2018 Canadian Country Music Week in Hamilton, she connected with CCMA award-winning producer Jeff Johnson. With her new single “Wait on Me” and 2020 fall album Where the Wild Hearts Beat produced by Johnson, Lisa Nicole has entered the next verse of her musical journey defined by a sharp commercial edge that maintains her pristine country ways.
