Another festival season has come and gone, but we were sure to hit the 401 East headed for Montréal in August. We love LASSO and every year they remind us why.
We spent our time eating poutine, drinking Aperol Spritz, and taking in the festival experience – and of course, interviewing some of your favourite artists.
We chatted with Jonah Kagen, Kalsey Kulyk, Joel Vogt, Theo Day, and Noah Brigden. We also chatted with SiriusXM Top of the Country finalists, Shawnee Kish, Morgan Griffiths, and Blue Ridge Band.
If you’re curious about the festival, 2027 headliner announcements are hopefully on the horizon. The festival experience is like no other – but don’t take our word for it.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
