The Reklaws were set to hit the road this Winter on their “Winter’s A Beach 2.0” Tour with Jade Eagleson and Nate Haller. They announced today on social media that they are cancelling the tour due to the pandemic.
When they announced the tour at the end of 2021, fans and music were excited to be able to see some live music. It’s been a rough couple years for the music industry … and just as it was starting to look like we were returning to some form of normalcy, we’re seeing tours and show dates being postponed again.
The news on Instagram read: “We’re so disappointed we can’t get out to see you all, but at this time for the health and safety of everyone, we know that cancelling the tour is the best decision.”

They went on to say, “We love our fans very much and are so grateful for everyone who got a ticket to come out and party with us. We’re going to be back bigger and better than ever soon — WE PROMISE — we just need to wait a little bit longer for our reunion.
There is still hope though for anyone who bought tickets. “We do plan on rescheduling some shows when safe to do so so stay tuned on our socials! We’ve all got some really exciting things to share in the coming weeks to keep the party going until then! Love you all and see you soon! (The Reklaws, Jade Eagleson, Nate Haller)
Refunds have been issued. Keep an eye on social media for news on when this tour will be rescheduled.
In general, the reactions from fans online have been very supportive and positive. Many people stating they understand, and that it’s best for public safety.
The positive reactions come as a bit of a surprise. The last couple weeks, a handful of both prominent and emerging Canadian country artists and fans alike have been vocal about their stance on the pandemic. Some have been discouraging the use of masks, and questioning compliance with the various provincial measures.
