“All To Yourself” is the brand new single from BC’s Raquel Cole.
Following the emotionally vulnerable 2022 single “Hate That I Need You”, “All To Yourself” switches gears a little, leaning into a more sultry vibe.
“All To Yourself” Musically Inspired By The Beatles
Along with being a gifted singer-songwriter, Raquel is also a talented instrumentalist. Finding inspiration in a number of talented artists like Keith Urban, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams and John Mayer, “All To Yourself” draws on inspiration from The Beatles.
“Musically is where I spent the most time messing around with the song, trying to mirror the way The Beatles would often use a lot of interesting chord changes while still keeping it very melodic and easy to listen to,” she says.
Lyrically, “All To Yourself” is about admitting to feelings for someone and not wanting them to share their heart with anyone but you.
Leaning into emotional vulnerability through music is something Raquel is no stranger to. Using her music to express her feelings, she shares deep emotions that come with common shared experiences.
“All To Yourself” is available on all streaming platforms now.
