After a string of cancellations were announced from most festivals in Canada, we decided we wanted to help bring live music to Canadians. We’re pleased to announce the Front Porch Sessions: Live.
Our first livestreamed event was so fun that we decided to make this a monthly feature! We will highlight some of Canada’s best independent country artists. The next event will take place on Thursday July 8, 2021 at 8pm EST. The livestream will feature Brea Lawrenson, Elyse Saunders, Greg Rider and Shawn Richard.
The Front Porch Sessions: Live will be a night of live music, and interviews. These artists will be playing a mix of original songs and covers of some of their favourite music. The event is completely free, and will be hosted on Facebook Live.

Brea Lawrenson has become one of the staples in the country music scene across Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. She’s an incredibly talented artist and has been making a name for herself on country radio for years.
We’re really excited to have her join us for our next Front Porch Sessions: LIVE. Her voice is unlike any other. When she sings, the room goes quiet. So it promises to be a special experience for everyone attending. You’re not going to want to miss this one.

Elyse Saunders
Elyse Saunders is having a HUGE year! Her latest single “Sunshine State of Mind” is the summer anthem we all need.
She’s been announced as one of the finalists in the 2021 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase presented by Coors Original. This showcase has launched so many careers in the Canadian country music space.
Elyse is a wonderful artist and she’s going to be amazing to listen to live on our Front Porch Sessions: LIVE .

Greg Rider
We love Greg Rider here on Front Porch. For the last few years, he has been consistently releasing great music. He’s one of the most determined artists that we have had the pleasure of working with.
We’re excited to have him join us for the Front Porch Sessions: LIVE. He’s an amazing storyteller and has such a great way of connecting with whoever he’s talking to, that we know you’re going to love watching him live.

Whenever we publish something about Shawn Richard on Front Porch Music, the traffic to the site goes bananas. He has an incredibly loyal following and it’s obvious why.
