After a string of cancellations were announced from most festivals in Canada, we decided we wanted to help bring live music to Canadians. We’re pleased to announce the Front Porch Sessions: Live.
Our first livestreamed event will feature some of Canada’s best independent country artists. The event will take place on May 6th, 2021 at 8pm EST. The livestream will feature Graham Scott Fleming, Mackenzie Leigh Meyer, Evan Farrell, and Owen Riegling.
The Front Porch Sessions: Live will be a night of live music, and interviews. These artists will be playing a mix of original songs and covers of some of their favourite music. The event is completely free, and will be hosted on Facebook Live. We’d love to have you join us!

Graham Scott Fleming
Graham Scott Fleming’s latest single “Deja Vu” is one of the most interesting songs released this year. He is such a fantastic artist with an unreal voice. We can’t wait to host him up here on the Front Porch.
Graham Scott Fleming is an international Singer/ Songwriter from Elmvale, Ontario. He started his career as a Country artist in 2011 when he won 1st place in the North of Nashville Star Competition at Kempenfest hosted by Kicx 106 Pure Country Radio station in Barrie Ontario.
Graham has shared the stage with some big Canadian country artists. He has opened for Derrick Ruttan, High Valley, Jason Blaine and has collaborated and co-wrote with Jason McCoy, Jane Bach, Phil Barton and many more!
Mackenzie Leigh Meyer
This Divebar Diva is another exciting artist that we are so thrilled to have join us on this livestream event. Earlier this year, we had the privilege of premiering the music video for her latest single “Before You”.
On Mackenzie’s Instagram bio, she refers to herself as a “Zero-Waste Hippie”. We asked her about this: “I’m a Big fan of being very environmentally conscious. I’m vegan, everything’s recycled, and I try not to buy things that come in plastic – I’m also the biggest compost freak on planet earth, ” she says through a laugh. “I’m just trying to be environmentally conscious in a very obvious way.”
She also makes her own soap to help cut back on her consumption of packaging.
This is another exciting artist! Evan Farrell is one of the more interesting emerging artists to hit the Canadian Country music scene in a long time. He has a deep voice, and is one hell of a talented songwriter.
We had the chance to connect with Evan earlier this year to chat about his latest single “Somewhere Out There”, and it was a great conversation. We learned a lot about this 19 year old artist.
Evan Farrell comes from Stouffville, Ontario. At the age of just 19, Farrell brings deep, rich vocals and strong acoustics to his sound. The young artist was born in California, and his family moved back to Canada when he was five years old. Farrell grew up playing hockey and baseball, and picked up the guitar when he was twelve years old. Songwriting came when he was fifteen.
Owen Riegling is an absolute gem and we’re so excited to have him join us for the Front Porch Sessions: Live on May 6th. For the last two years, he has had a single in the Front Porch Music Annual Top 10 Songs list. His single “Smoke Man” also lasted on the Top Indie Country Playlist on Spotify for the better part of the year.
He’s a really great artist, and we can’t wait to finally sit down with him face-to-face (virtually of course) and give him a proper introduction to Front Porch Music.
