Rebecca Rain has released her latest single “Sad Country Song” and is available everywhere. From small-town Ontario, Rebecca is here with a new song and a classic sound.

“Sad Country Song” is a powerful and relatable track that encourages listeners to embrace their emotions and seek solace in music during difficult times.

The songwriters behind the track, including Rebecca herself, hope to use the power of music to advocate for mental health awareness and donate a percentage of proceeds to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The song stemmed from a conversation between Rebecca and her brother Jamie about how sad songs are often a place they find comfort when going through hard times. The two got to writing, and shared the song with producer and friend, Doug Romanow, to add the finishing touches.

The three writers believe in the power of music, and how it can not only be a solace, but also a source of inspiration.
