The Reklaws Honour Their Country Roots in New Single “I Grew Up On A Farm”

The Reklaws

Chart-topping, multi-PLATINUM duo The Reklaws have once again struck a chord with Canadian country music lovers, this time with their latest single, “I Grew Up On A Farm”

This catchy tune isn’t just another song – it’s a tribute to the duo’s rural upbringing.

Behind “I Grew Up On A Farm”

Jenna Walker and Stuart Walker, the siblings behind The Reklaws, are excited to share “I Grew Up On A Farm” with their fans. For them, it’s a way to honour their childhood spent on their family’s farm, Yee Haw Adventure Farm, where they learned life lessons and developed their passion for music.

“Sharing this song with everyone today is about moving into the next season of our story while at the same time reminding ourselves why we started making music in the first place. We have a newfound confidence to share our story after our journey these past few years and we’re so grateful to all of you who have stood by our side each and every day,” shared Jenna.

To write the song the duo teamed up with their close-knit group of friends who have been a constant part of their lives over the years. Together Jenna & Stuart (The Reklaws), Khalid Yassein (Wild Rivers), Scott Helman, Emily Reid and Callum Maudsley created a lively anthem that celebrates the values and experiences that have shaped them into the people they are today.

The lyrics do a great job at painting a picture of the simple joys and special moments of country living. Even if you didn’t grow up on a farm, you’ll find yourself connecting to the song’s message about cherishing the small things in life.

Whether you’re dusting off your cowboy boots and taking a trip down memory lane or simply appreciating the beauty of country music, “I Grew Up on a Farm” invites you to take a journey with The Reklaws back to their roots.
