River Town Saints Are Back With “Goodbye Ain’t A Game”

River Town Saints kicked off 2023 with the release of their latest single “Goodbye Ain’t A Game”. This song brings you the RTS sound you know and love, but with a rock edge to showcase a bit of a different sound.

“Goodbye Ain’t A Game” was inspired by one of River Town Saints’ members on again/off again relationships with a now ex-girlfriend.

The message of the song is one that many can relate to … a hot and cold relationship. One moment, the heat is on full display, and the next moment, you’re at each other’s throats. The imagery of the lyrics paint the picture of big emotions in a toxic relationship.

“These lyrics symbolize how in the beginning of many relationships, especially those of your friends that you witness, things start really hot and heavy,” The RTS guys say. “There’s so many signs of affection in public – almost enough to make you puke. All of a sudden they’re broken up and dissing each other, but then the next week they’re back together doing it all over again. So it goes!”

This edgier, more rock sound, fits perfectly with their style. Chase Kasner’s vocals help elevate the tune, and blend perfectly with the rock influence of this single.

Starting the year off strong, the River Town Saints guys have lots of big plans for 2023. Keep your eyes … and ears … tuned for more from this band.
