The Redhill Valleys Rock It Out In New Single “Finish Line”

"Finish Line" by The Redhill Valleys

The Redhill Valleys are getting set to release their highly anticipated sophomore album this Fall, and their latest single “Finish Line” gives a taste of what to expect from this incredible Roots band.

This band has made a name for themselves after the release of their debut album. Their rootsy sound, great harmonies, and fantastic songwriting have set them apart in the industry. They also know how to put on one hell of a live show.

Their latest single “Finish Line” is a bit of a departure from what we would have expected from them … and we’re not mad about it! It’s a rock anthem that features some heavy guitar and drums and showcases Chelsea McWilliams’ powerful but soulful voice.

It’s a song that has a refreshing message to hear from a female perspective. “The song really grew from the lyric ‘Get me to the finish line,'” Chelsea says. “It felt very rock and roll in the sense that the female perspective, when it comes to desire and sexuality, is oftentimes a very taboo topic to write about. This song is our own anthem that uplifts female sexuality in a powerful, playful and confident way. It’s really about a woman taking charge of her own desire and attraction, and isn’t afraid to call the shots and demand satisfaction.”

To match the heavy rock influence of the song, the band filmed an equally energetic music video at the famous Flamboro Speedway near Hamilton and shows Chelsea put the pedal to the metal.
