Festival country Lotbiniere headliners 2027

Festival Country Lotbinière (FCL) is going big for its 12th edition. Sam Hunt, Bailey Zimmerman and HARDY will headline the 2027 festival in Saint-Agapit, QC, which the festival is calling the biggest headliners in its history.

Each headliner gets a night of his own, and the festival runs August 26 to 28, 2027. That’s a hitmaker, a breakout star and a country-rock wrecking ball, one after the other.

Our Experience at Festival Country Lotbinière

In 2024, we road-tripped to Festival Country Lotbinière and shared all the details in a post about our adventure. From indulging in Quebec’s best poutine to enjoying the side stage’s emerging artists, the festival offered much more than great music.

Sam Hunt Opens the Festival

Sam Hunt kicks things off Thursday night with a catalog full of songs people know every word to, like “Take Your Time,” “House Party,” “Body Like a Back Road” and “Outskirts.” He was writing songs for other artists in Nashville before his own career took off. He’s known for blending country and pop with honest, personal songwriting.

Bailey Zimmerman Takes Friday

In just a few years, Bailey Zimmerman has gone from newcomer to one of country’s biggest draws, with more than 4 billion streams. “Fall in Love,” “Rock and a Hard Place,” “Religiously” and “Where It Ends” fuelled that rise. His debut, Religiously. The Album., had the biggest streaming debut ever for a country debut album, and he followed it with Different Night Same Rodeo.

HARDY Closes It Out

HARDY wraps up the weekend on Saturday. Before his solo career took off, he co-wrote hits like “Sand in My Boots,” “More Than My Hometown” and “Up Down.” His live show leans into his blend of country roots, rock riffs and heavier influences, which makes a fitting finale for the weekend.

Making a Road Trip Out of Festival Country Lotbinière

FCL is worth more than a quick weekend drive. When we went, we turned it into a summer road trip from Toronto to Saint-Agapit and Quebec City, with plenty of good stops along the way.

We split the drive in two. The first leg took us from Toronto to Ottawa, with a stop at The Big Apple in Colborne for apple fritters, turnovers and a photo with the giant apple out front. Ottawa makes an easy halfway point to rest up before heading into Quebec.

From Ottawa, it’s about four hours to Lévis. Grab a dipped cone at Chocolats Favoris on the way, and save Rose Drummond in Drummondville for the drive home. It’s a gift shop, florist and café all under one roof, just off the highway.

Where to stay: Lévis is about 20 minutes from the festival grounds, which makes it a great pick if you’d rather sleep in a bed than a tent. It also puts you 20 minutes from Old Quebec, so you can add a day at the Château Frontenac, Quartier Petit Champlain and the Plains of Abraham.

Pro Tip: Bring your rain boots! It almost always rains at some point over the weekend, and the main grounds get muddy.

Every stop is in our full Festival Country Lotbinière road trip itinerary, along with an interactive map you can use to plan your own trip.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
