East Coast Country artist Laurie LeBlanc has released his highly anticipated brand new single called “Another Night Like This”. This is the latest single from his album When It’s Right It’s Right.
Laurie LeBlanc is best known for his east coast Acadian sounds. This latest album features 10 original songs, each co-written with some of Nashville’s top songwriters. It was produced by multi-Canadian Country Music Award-winner Jason Barry, and features members of Dean Brody’s touring band.
As for the the single, “Another Night Like This” is an up-tempo song that fills the listener with joy. “Imagine a warm summer night, the kind when fireworks and butterflies are ever so present, and you just don’t want it to end,” LeBlanc says. “It may be your first love, or it may be ‘the one’…”
“And if we’re lucky, it happens to us once in our lifetime,” he continues.
This single, and the whole album, is a departure from what we’re used to hearing from Laurie LeBlanc. The majority of his catalogue is in French. He’s had a desire to write in the English language, and his wife/manager pushed him to step out of his comfort zone to do this.
“She wanted me to record an English album for a while,” he explains. “I needed to step out of my comfort zone, and it turned out to be a truly gratifying experience.”
“I loved this song from the first moment I heard it,” LeBlanc recalls. “The writer’s description of a magical night between two lovers, blended with a sexy, laid-back energy? I knew right away it would be a cut on the album.”
