The nominees are officially in for the 2026 CCMA Awards, and this year the party moves to Saskatoon. Canada’s biggest night in country music takes over SaskTel Centre on September 19, capping off Country Music Week, which kicks off September 16.

It’s a milestone year for the Canadian Country Music Association too. The CCMA turns 50 in 2026, and the ballot shows just how deep the talent pool runs. This year’s nominees include 192 artists and industry professionals, with 71 earning their first-ever nomination.

Country music fans across Canada help decide two categories this year: the Fans’ Choice Award and Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year presented by FACTOR. Voting is open now at ccma.org/fanvoting.

🎤 Highlights From the 2025 CCMA Awards
The 2025 CCMA Awards lit up Kelowna, with Prospera Place hosting Canada’s biggest night in country music for the first time.
Josh Ross walked away the big winner, taking home Entertainer of the Year plus Single of the Year and Video of the Year for “Single Again”. Cameron Whitcomb had a breakout night of his own, winning both Fans’ Choice and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
Owen Riegling claimed Album of the Year for Bruce County (From The Beginning), while MacKenzie Porter won Female Artist, Jade Eagleson took Male Artist, and James Barker Band earned Group or Duo of the Year.
With Kelowna setting the stage, the 2025 CCMAs proved once again that Canadian country music just keeps getting bigger. Now it’s Saskatoon’s turn.
