Manny Blu is back with his latest single, “Valet“. The track features fellow Montreal-based artist, Brittany Kennell.
Manny Blu is known for delivering a unique punk-country sound. And while “Valet” stays true to his sound, it also brings us a soulful side of Blu’s vocal ability.
“Valet” caught my attention on the New in Country playlist on Apple Music. I was passively listening on a drive into the country, and my ears perked up the second he began singing. I was also intrigued by the female vocalist paired with Blu for the track.

I like music that makes me feel something real … and Blu and Kennell delivered this track so soulfully, I was transported right to the story, the passion, and the sultry lyrics.
“After I reconnected with an old girlfriend during 2020’s quarantine back home in Montreal, I returned to my home in Nashville and dreamed of the days when the borders would open so I could bring her down and showcase the life I’ve built,” Manny says.
For Blu, “Valet” was a perfect choice. The feelings and emotions building with distance as a musician, he was able to connect with the song and deliver a meaningful experience for listeners. Pair that with Brittany Kennell’s powerful voice, and “Valet” is seductive and mesmerizing.
