New Album From Meghan Patrick: Country Music Made Me Do It

On January 12th, Meghan Patrick’s much anticipated new album Country Music Made Me Do It was released. This album features 12 tracks, and is truly a piece of art. Each track has legs to stand alone, and when played together is a powerhouse!

This album showcases Meghan’s huge range in vocal ability. From heartfelt ballads like The Bad Guy and Feel Me Gone, to the more upbeat songs like the title track Country Music Made Me Do It and Hardest on My Heart, it’s obvious that there’s nothing this girl can’t sing.

Her debut album Grace & Grit was really great, but this follow up project shows some more versatility, growth, and definitely helps set the foundation for longevity in the Canadian country music industry.

Who is Meghan Patrick?

Meghan Patrick is a Canadian country music singer and songwriter from Bowmanville, Ontario. She was signed to Warner Music Canada back in 2015 and released her debut album Grace & Grits in April of 2016 to great critical and audience acclaim.

She was nominated for 2016’s CCMA Songwriter of the Year along with her co-writer Chad Kroeger, and won both Female Artist of the Year and Rising Star Award at the 2017 awards.

2017 was a really big year for Meghan Patrick, and listening to this new album, it’s sounding like it’s going to be an even bigger 2018!
