A few weeks ago, the Hunter Brothers announced on their social media that Luke Hunter was involved in a severe accident that had him recovering in hospital. Luke has now spoken out about the detail of the accident.
On May 8, 2021 The Hunter Brothers posted a picture of Luke smiling in a hospital bed to their official social media platforms.
His injuries include shattered bones, a dislocated elbow, severed ligaments and tendons, a broken wrist, and more. The brothers had not originally provided any details on how he sustained his injuries. All we knew was that these injuries were severe but that Luke was expected to recover.
In an interview with ET Canada, Luke gave us more details on how he injured himself. He was working on the roof of his house and slipped off the ladder while descending from the roof. According to Luke, he fell all the way down.

In the interview, Luke was seen in a cast on each arm and sling over his shoulder. He said: “I realized very quickly how easily we take things for granted, like using our arms, that one needs to step back and be thankful for.”
According to the brothers, it’s unclear whether he’ll be able to play the guitar the same way he used to or how much mobility he’ll be able to regain in his left arm.
