Jade Eagleson is back with another classic country tune, and we are here for it!
Multi-Platinum, 2023 JUNO nominee Jade Eagleson is taking country music back to its roots with his newest release “Rodeo Queen.”
This Canadian artist has recently been recording a more traditional country sound, similar to what he grew up listening to.
“I grew up on artists like Alan, Keith and Randy and I always wanted to release my version of the classic sound,” said Eagleson. “Thankfully a lot of the legends that played on those albums helped bring this new music to life and I’ve never been more excited about it. I sure hope everyone has as much fun listening to it as we did recording it.”
“Rodeo Queen,” is a honky-tonk tune that is bringing back everything modern country music has been lacking.
“Whiskey Thinks I Am” (Honkytonk Revival), and “Rodeo Queen,” were both written by Jade Eagleson and long-time friend Daryl Scott. This duo embraces a high-energy tempo with these western swing-inspired tracks, and Jade is giving his fans a taste of what’s to come on his next album.
“Growing up in a small farming town we didn’t have much rodeo but moving out to Alberta later in life with my wife, I was able to attend some and the energy was always undeniable, and that was really the inspiration behind this new song,” said Eagleson. “I wanted to remind everyone how much fun country music can be and I hope when they hear it they grab a partner and hit the dance floor. This track is definitely going to be a favourite to play live this summer.”
If you’re an Eagleson fan, you don’t want to miss out on seeing him perform live across Canada in 2023!
Jade will be taking the stage this spring and summer at already announced shows including The Calgary Stampede, Cavendish Beach Music Festival, LASSO, Quonset Days and Meadows Music Festival.
And with tons of new music coming, you will have no shortage of new tracks to enjoy all year long!
