It’s not only romantic love that is highlighted on the album.

With his latest single “Friend”, Catto tells the story of being there for someone who is struggling with their mental health.  During these recent times, it’s a comforting song to listen to that reminds you you’re not alone.

The set closes with the relatable “House Crazy”. As the last couple of years has forced us to spend the majority of time at home, I think we can all relate to feeling a bit cramped.

“Yeah we need a vacation, but the backyards not enough!” Catto sings. “Where we go don’t matter much to me, we’re going house crazy!” I’m right there with you, Jeff!

The standout track is the anthemic “Want You Even More”.

Starting with rhythmic guitar string plucking,  the song builds to rolling drums and a chorus that could fill a stadium! And the album gets nice and tender with the tracks “Ordinary” and “Spent Loving You”, two romantic songs that would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day playlist.

A Little About Jeff Catto

Originally from Owen Sound, Ontario, Jeff is only recently starting to plant roots in the Country genre.  But he’s not new to the music industry by any means.

He brings with him over 18 years of songwriting, performing and producing abilities from the Gospel music scene.  It’s a smooth transition, as you can hear inspiration in all the songs on the album.

“I love the country music scene these days,” Catto says. “I love how welcoming and encouraging everyone is. I have been doing this for a very long time and that’s something I haven’t really, truly seen before. I want to be known as someone who writes to uplift and inspire people to not give up on family, life, love and dreams. I am a dream chaser.”

Scott Sykes

Scott has been a lover of music his whole life, but being born and raised in small town Ontario helped solidify his love of Country music specifically. Drawn to the musicality and storytelling of Country Music, one of his passions is spreading the word about all the great talent Canada has to offer in this genre. Scott has an extending performing career, having acted in many theatre productions, sketch comedy, music videos and TV, and has hosted multiple global corporation seminars and awards ceremonies.  While he is a classically trained pianist, he leaves music to the professionals, and basks in all their musical glory!  A day without music is a waste of day, he believes, and can usually be found cranking some of his favourite Canadian artists like James Barker Band, Madeline Merlo, and Brett Kissel, and artists like Kip Moore and Ashley McBryde from south of the border on a daily basis.
