The husband and wife duo Rosewood Ave first came to our attention earlier this year with their debut single “Fool For Love”. They’re back with a brand new single called “Broke” that showcases a different side to their sound.
“Broke” is a really fun song that so many people can relate to. We’ve all gone through periods where we’ve had no money, or unsure where our next meal was going to come from. That’s what this song is about. Not having enough money for anything, but still being happy with one another’s company.
It’s a song with a difficult message, and could easily be a devastating, sad song. But these two add heart and levity to the song to make the message still feel uplifted.
It’s a departure from their debut single, and showcases the range these two have as artists.

This single was written by some of Nashville’s most iconic songwriters. Written by Brandy Clark, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, this single perfectly displays their Country/Roots sound. “Broke” showcases just how much fun Rosewood Ave is having doing what they love most!
Sabrina and Dave are situated in the remote Nothern Ontario community of Iroquois Falls. They met by fate. Dave’s family moved to the community, right across the avenue from Sabrina.
They immediately fell in love and began sharing their passion for music by writing and performing together. They have been married since 2017 and performing together ever since.
We can’t wait to see and hear what’s next for these two exciting artists. If their first two singles are any indication, these two have something big planned for their next release.
