Alberta, you ready for some live music this Summer? The 2022 Country Thunder Alberta Music Festival Lineup has been announced, and tickets are on sale now!
After a couple years of cancelled events, Country Thunder is coming back to Calgary with a strong lineup of top charting artists. Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, and Lee Brice are among the top billed artists headlining the 2022 festival this year.

This year’s festival will be from August 19 to 21 at the Prairie Winds Park in Calgary, Alberta.
“The city of Calgary has been incredibly supportive since we debuted in 2016,” said Troy Vollhoffer, Country Thunder Music Festivals CEO, in a statement. “To be able to return with a line-up of this magnitude is all about delivering to some of the best and most loyal music fans anywhere in the world.
“Live music has returned to Canada and we’re thrilled to be able to celebrate in Calgary in 2022!”
Many people are very excited about this lineup, but not everyone is giving a round of applause. The lineup so far this year features very few female or Canadian artists, and their headliner Morgan Wallen has drawn controversy himself.
Regardless, this festival promises to feature some great country music and will quench the thirst for live music!
