Bringing her rich, powerful vocals to “Encore,” Annika captures the listener right from the beginning and pulls you into the story. Kissel was the perfect match to Annika’s for the track. Their harmonies blend effortlessly to give so much dimension to the ballad.

Combining a painful, drawn out goodbye, with seductive lyrics drives the story of lovers to their endpoint. Battling the need to be apart, but the ability to fall into each other again.
”As a fan and as a fellow artist, I’ve always hoped to someday share the stage with Brett Kissel. In the studio, hearing his voice on a song that I had written was a dream come true. Brett brought his energy, heartfelt vocals, and undeniable talent to the song in a way that nobody else could,” says Annika.
Annika also dropped “Love Looks Like You” alongside “Encore” for a paired release day.

Annika has been hard at work since beginning her solo venture. She’s written over 100 songs with some of the industry’s finest writers, including Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Phil Barton, Brian White, Patricia Conroy, and Liz Rose.
Her debut solo-single, “I Really Don’t Want To” charted Top 40 on CBC, and was shared across over 40 radio stations throughout the country.
