This rockin’ country duo Flaysher has released yet another rockin’ country tune, but this one is a little different.
This catchy single talks about the after effects of a breakup and an emotional feeling being experienced. The song speaks to the stubborn side in all of us – coming to terms with missing an ex but refusing to change who we are to go chase them.
“Good For You” taps in to more of Flaysher’s rock influences including Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, and Bob Segar.
Flaysher has undeniable hometown country tones, and their identifiable edgy tones are taken to a new level. Brad Flaysher describes this song as higher energy and having more grit in the vocals which makes this their most raw single to date.
Over here on the Front Porch, we are absolutely loving this new hit!

About Country Brother Duo Flaysher
Based on the last name of two ‘born and raised’ Albertan brothers, Flaysher is a CMAB Award-nominated Canadian country duo and Top 12 finalist in Alberta Music’s 2021/2022 PROJECT WILD competition.
Inspired by the storytelling in 90s country and the high-octane energy of heartland rock classics, Flaysher’s songs are rooted in the influence of their upbringing.
These blue-collar brothers are known for their high-energy live performances. They’ve performed at Country Thunder and the Calgary Stampede, headlined the Alberta Summer Games to an audience of over 6,000 people and sold out the King Eddy (Calgary, AB) multiple times.
The moment after we played our very first show, we kinda just looked at each other and went “I could really get used to this,” said Brad and Ryan Flaysher.
Every time they hit the stage you can’t help but feel the passion these two brothers have for performing and lifting people up.

Hey, I’m Taylor Jean! Lover of all thing’s country from my cowboy boots to my down-home roots. When I’m not out seeking an adventure or jammin’ to some country tunes by a fire, I’m working at JR Country radio station in Vancouver. A few of my favourite country artists are Dallas Smith, Tim McGraw, and Jon Pardi.
