Nicole Rayy and Graham Scott Fleming teamed up to write and record this original country Christmas song, “Tailgate Christmas”.

We are putting this song at the top of our nice list this year….and our Canadian Country Christmas playlist on Spotify.

Encouraging you to feel that “Yuletide Glow”, Nicole and Graham wrapped this tune up with a bow for our listening.

This song was released as part of Nicole’s 3 piece holiday EP, A Merry Little Christmas, with classics “Run Run Rudolph” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”. Nicole is so excited to share some of her favourite Christmas tunes with her fans who have been aching for a holiday release.

“Back in December 2017 I started a series on Facebook called Countdown to Christmas where I would cover Christmas songs leading up to Christmas day. Ever since then my fans have been asking for my Christmas album.”

While we didn’t get a full album, A Merry Little Christmas is the perfect dose of holiday cheer from one of Canada’s top independent female country artists.

Produced by Douglas Romanow, this duet is giving us total old school country Christmas vibes, but a catchy, upbeat sound. Think Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton: A Christmas to Remember Special. While also giving a nod to Canadian Country/ Pop Icon, Shania Twain, in her duet with Billy Currington, “just me and you, a Party for Two, it’s our favourite time of year”.

Back the truck up, cozy up by the campfire, and put “Tailgate Christmas” on repeat. This song pairs perfectly with hot cocoa and Bailey’s.

“Tonight we are gonna get a little naughty and nice.”
