Alberta-based Canadian country music artist Reed Salmon is turning heads with his latest single, “Summer to Fall.”
The song, which is available now, delves into the bittersweet emotions that accompany a fleeting summer romance, destined to end as the season changes to fall.
The song captures the essence of a brief summer fling, where the characters enjoy warm nights and good times, only to experience a falling out as autumn arrives.
The title “Summer to Fall” cleverly alludes to both the transition of seasons and the end of a relationship.
The song’s lyrics, written in collaboration with Dave Farbor, Jeff Johnson, and Nate Cavalli, blend imagery of classic summer moments with themes of reflection and regret.
Throughout the track, Reed sings about what he might have done differently if he had known that the relationship would be so short-lived.
You can find “Summer to Fall” anywhere you get your music.
