Canada’s beloved brother-sister duo, The Reklaws, auditioned for America’s Got Talent (AGT) and received a heartfelt “yes” from each judge!
The duo took to the AGT stage to honour their late Mother through their heartbreaking yet empowering song, “People Don’t Talk About”.
The talent and emotional messaging behind their original song was enough to bring some of the audience member’s to tears and emotionally move all four judges.
Simon Cowell called their performance, “the kind of audition we love on this show.”

The audience and judges fell silent as they were captivated by the duo’s “impeccable lyrics and vocals”—I grew up playing house / In a house that was broke / I wish we talked it out / Now I don’t know why—When it’s 2 am you’re talking to yourself again / You’re digging a hole … People don’t talk about / Trying to be yourself / But feeling like you’re someone else.

In their pre-audition interview, Jenna said, “We wanted it to be a song specifically about our mom. We lost our mom to mental health, and that shook up our world.”
One of the judges, Heidi Klum, took to X (formarly Twitter) to further encourage and support The Reklaws. “THAT’S how you do it!!! I can’t wait to hear more from The Reklaws!”
It’s safe to say that the duo has the entire country cheering them on, and we can’t wait to see what songs they choose to perform in their coming performances on AGT!
