“What We’re Getting To” tells a story of a boat, first date fishing, and a little bit of good luck. If you listen carefully to this song’s recording you can hear crickets in the chorus adding background vocals. “The studio where we recorded vocals had an abundance of the insects visiting that evening and we figured what the hell, might as well use them” Strumming Stories Band says.
Strumming Stories is a fresh brand of blue-collar country rock planning to take over the airwaves this year and plant roots for a long future in music. This Canadian band from Ontario is known for their heart and soul storytelling lyrics and rhythm guitars.
