Despite what the title might suggest, “Singin’ Bout Cowboys” isn’t about the traditional Stetson-wearing, rodeo-riding figure. Instead, Ottolini shifts the focus to the blue-collar men who work hard, love unconditionally, and don’t need a lasso to be heroes in their own right.
“I love a good country song about a cowboy, but I’ve never been able to write one because quite frankly, I’ve never met one,” Ottolini jokes. “I found a way to still sing about them in a sense, while paying homage to the guys that I do know a thing or two about.”
The song’s heartfelt lyrics, “Everybody’s singin’ about cowboys, but I’m just singin’ bout you,” make it clear that authenticity remains at the core of Ottolini’s storytelling. With its sun-streaked melody and signature raw honesty, the track embodies her artistic evolution without losing the relatability that has endeared her to fans.

Ottolini first exploded onto the scene with “F-150,” a platinum-certified smash that racked up nearly 60 million streams and took TikTok by storm.
Since then, she has amassed over 160 million streams, earned a CCMA Award, secured three Top 40 hits on the Billboard Canada Country chart, and shared the stage with icons like Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, and Breland.
