Here’s a fun breakup song! Krissy Feniak’s latest single “Bad Day” is a song dedicated to all bad exes. This Albertan artist has been making noise in the industry for a couple years now, and this new single makes it clear why.
“Bad Day” is a song that everybody who has had a crappy breakup can relate to. It can easily be considered an anthem, and features Krissy’s unique voice and vocal ability.
As an artist, Krissy has had a busy year! She was awarded the Rising Star Award at the 2020 Country Music Alberta Awards. The Alberta Country Music Association honoured her with the ACMA Horizon Award. She was also a nominee for Female Artist of the year in 2018 and 2019.
And it’s obvious why …
When you’re listening to her voice, you’re hit with a unique tone and sound; somewhat reminiscent of Miranda Lambert’s. It’s a sound that we don’t hear much in the Canadian landscape. So it’s really great to hear this unique sound coming from a wonderful Canadian artist.
Krissy has performed at some of the most iconic venues for country artists. She’s performed at the Big Valley Jamboree, Alberta Country Music Awards, ACMA Fan Fest, and The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
We can’t wait to see what’s next for this exciting artist from Alberta. Be sure to stream “Bad Day” by Krissy Feniak on Apple Music and Spotify.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
