Brett Kissel has teamed up with Canadian superstars Walk Off The Earth for a new version of his single “A Few Good Stories”. And the music video is filled with famous dogs.
“A Few Good Stories” was released earlier this year from Brett’s “Now Or Never” album. But he has joined forces with Walk Off The Earth to release a new version of this great song.
The new version of this song has such an interesting flair to it. Walk Off The Earth’s signature sound adds some depth to song and elevates the original. It’s a really chill song that has a great summer vibe to it … you’re going to love it!
Together, they released a music video for “A Few Good Stories“, and it couldn’t be more adorable. The music video features a cast of superstar dogs including Connor McDavid’s pal Lenny, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick’s golden retrievers Ramen & Pinot, and Kissel’s family pet Charlie.
The video shows what happens when the humans leave the house. Turns out they party!
The music video is so fun to watch. They must have all had a blast filming the video with all those dogs. It would have been hard to concentrate and get anything done! There’s just so many dogs to pet.
Be sure to watch the music video and stream “A Few Good Stories” on Apple Music and Spotify.

Lyrics To “A Few Good Stories”
I’m gonna put a million miles on these cowboy boots
And a real big dent in my revenue
If I ain’t done it all just means I ain’t done it yet
When I look back I don’t wanna have one single regret
I’m gonna soak up the sun
Keep the wind in my sails
Try to get to heaven
While I raise a little hell
When it’s all set and done
I’ll know I lived it well
If I ain’t got nothin’ but
A few good stories to tell
I’m gonna put a few scratches on this old guitar
I’m gonna sip some good whiskey, smoke a Cuban cigar
I’m gonna dance with my baby to some slow motown
I’m gonna live it up so much I ain’t never gonna live it down
Till then I’ll soak up the sun
Keep the wind in my sails
Try to get to heaven
While I raise a little hell
When it’s all set and done
I’ll know I lived it well
If I ain’t got nothin’ but
A few good stories to tell
Yeah!
Gonna be a few crazy ones
Probably be a few hazy ones
But man when my days are done
It’ll make a good book
Till then I’ll soak up the sun
Keep the wind in my sails
Try to get to heaven
While I raise a little hell
When it’s all set and done
I’ll know I lived it well
If I ain’t got nothin’ but
A few good stories to tell
Gonna be a few crazy ones
(Soak up the sun)
(Wind in my sails)
Gonna be a lot of hazy ones
(Try to get to heaven)
(Raise a little hell)
In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
