Emily Clair has kicked off her latest project with her most recent single, “Kiss Strangers”, available wherever you stream music and Front Porch Music has your exclusive premiere of the accompanying music video.
Emily Clair enlisted Roadhouse Productions to bring “Kiss Strangers” to life.
Painting Women In An Empowering Light
“In country music, women are often presented as dwelling on past relationships by drowning in a box of ice cream or a bottle of wine. I wanted to break away from that perception and offer a fresh take on the post-relationship mindset,” says Emily, on the greater message behind “Kiss Strangers”.
She continues, “With Bobbi and David, we wrote a sassy and empowering break-up anthem for all the strong, single women out there who want to let go of yesterday’s heartbreak. Starting over doesn’t have to be so sad. The thrill of indulging in new adventures can also be fun and liberating.”
This single is almost like an open letter for women to share with their exes. It paints an empowered, strong picture of a woman moving on with her life.
Emily says, “You don’t have to be that girl who is grieving over heartache. We’ve all been there before. If your ex can move on, you have the strength to move on, too.”

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
