SiriusXM Canada and the Canadian Country Music Association® (CCMA®) have officially revealed the three finalists for the 2025 SiriusXM Top of the Country competition—and it’s a trio of seriously talented artists from across Canada.
After a nationwide vote, fuelled by passionate fans and industry experts alike, these three country standouts have risen to the top:
- Sully Burrows – Parry Sound, Ontario
- Noeline Hofmann – Bow Island, Alberta
- Jake Vaadeland – Cut Knife, Saskatchewan
Each of these artists brings their own unique style and voice to the stage, representing a vibrant cross-section of the Canadian country music scene. And now, they’re heading into the final phase of the competition—with career-changing opportunities on the horizon.
What Happens Next?
As finalists, Sully, Noeline, and Jake are in for one wild ride. They’ve earned exclusive mentorship opportunities with top industry experts, and they’ll be showcasing their music at major events across the country—including a trip to Nashville for CMA Fest this June.
They’ll also hit the stage at LASSO Montréal in August—one of the summer’s biggest country music festivals. All roads lead to Kelowna, BC this September, where the competition wraps during Country Music Week 2025. That’s where we’ll find out who takes home the grand prize of $25,000 and the coveted title of Top of the Country champion. The two runners-up won’t leave empty-handed either—they’ll each receive $10,000.
The grand finale, broadcast live on SiriusXM’s Top of the Country Radio (Ch. 171), will feature unforgettable live performances from all three finalists.
Celebrating Canadian Country
“This year’s voting period was a fantastic show of support for Canadian country music,” says Michelle Mearns, SVP of Programming & Operations, SiriusXM Canada. “The calibre of talent only amplified this sense of national pride, driving more fans to vote.”
Amy Jeninga, President of the CCMA, echoes the excitement: “It’s an incredible honour to elevate and celebrate the passionate artists and fans across the country who make SiriusXM’s Top of the Country possible.”
With this competition, SiriusXM continues its tradition of supporting and spotlighting emerging Canadian talent—giving artists a platform to reach new audiences across North America.

Zach Joined Us On The Porch To Talk About This Contest
The night was capped off with a great performance from MacKenzie Porter.
In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
