Emma Kade shares, “I wrote ‘End Game’ about my personal experiences with love. It’s a journey that can often leave you feeling disappointed and cynical, but when you meet your special person, everything you felt so discouraged about can change in an instant. This song is about those moments of excitement while falling in love and the butterflies that come with it. After singing countless brides down the aisle as a wedding singer, it’s only fitting that I wrote ‘End Game’ about my husband and performed it for him at our wedding.”
A Prolific Journey in Music
Emma Kade, an emerging Métis artist based in Creston, BC, has been a prolific multi-genre artist and songwriter since her high school days.
Her debut album, Transparent, was released in 2015, marking the beginning of her musical journey. Over the years, Kade has achieved several milestones, including winning the 2018 Kootenay Music Award for Best Pop Song (“Until My Heart Quits”), opening for Canadian country music icon Dean Brody in 2022, and being selected to participate in Music BC’s ARC Artist Accelerator Program in 2023.
“End Game” follows Kade’s three recent singles, with her 2022 pop collaboration “Let Me Go” achieving nearly a million Spotify streams and reaching listeners in over 150 countries.
