We love to introduce you to new Canadian country artists. Today we’re excited to bring to you a great song from a talented artist originally from the Barrie, Ontario area.
Jordan Riley is an incredibly talented artist and has released a brand new single called “Still Got It”. It’s a fun song that everyone can relate to. The single features Jordan’s smooth vocals, and showcases his talents as a songwriter.
This song was cowritten and produced by Taylor Abrams from the James Barker Band, a familiar name in the Canadian country scene. Taylor is also from the Barrie area, so it comes as no surprise that these two collaborated on this project.
“‘Still Got It‘ was written to be an up tempo summer country tune that you could turn up loud and dance to,” Jordan explains. “‘Still Got It‘ was written, recorded, and produced by myself, and Taylor Abram of the James Barker Band.”
“When we started to write, we knew we had something good, we knew that is was a song that people could relate to and tell a story, and that’s what country music is all about.”

Growing up in a town just south of Barrie ON, I spent most of my life thus far always surrounded by family, my six brothers and sisters and my nieces and nephews.
There’s something about growing up in a small town that makes you value that time with your family, as crazy as it can be some days. Family always comes first, and then the music I can share with them.
When I wasn’t putting my nieces and nephews over my shoulder, it was a guitar strap. My love for music has grown with me throughout the years. I have a deep appreciation for all music but in particular, I love listening to the live, acoustic versions of any song. That’s when you hear and feel raw, real talent. I have spent many, many hours writing songs and playing them to anyone who will listen.
Those who can appreciate good music is a welcome friend of mine.
Everyone who knows me knows that if you forgot your guitar at home, it’s no worry, I’ve got you covered with the five I have on the wall. Every day I am learning to be the best person and the best musician that I can be. There will never be a day where I have known it all or seen it all, because that is what tomorrow is for.
