the full 2020 Boots & Hearts Lineup

UPDATE: The 2020 Boots & Hearts Music Festival has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Below is the original post about what the 2020 festival lineup was supposed to be.

It’s finally here, the moment we’ve all been waiting and asking for! The lineup for the 2020 Boots & Hearts Music Festival has been announced, and it’s filled with a promise of a great weekend.

The lineup, or shall we say the lack of one, has been a source of contention online with fans since late 2019. Fans have been begging for a lineup announcement before committing to purchasing tickets. Whatever the reason for the delay, fans can rest easily now that we know who will be performing at the 2020 Boots & Hearts Music Festival at Burl’s Creek just North of Toronto, ON. The lineup this year has some great artists and a number of surprises. Headliners for this year’s festival includes country heavyweight Eric Church, cross-over artists Dan + Shay, and co-headliners Jon Pardi and Dustin Lynch

The biggest surprise about this year’s announcement is the addition of some artists that are not in the country genre. Pop artists such as Alessia Cara, Andy Grammar and Dwayne Gretzky will be joining the lineup on Saturday. While there is some chatter of disappointment around the Internet at these artists, there is an equal amount of excitement. These artists will likely increase the sale of single-day passes for Saturday August 8th, by opening the festival up to audiences that aren’t country fans.

This page will be your resource for all things that pertain to the 2020 Boots & Hearts lineup. As more artists are announced, we will update this page.

Eric Church

Eric Church will be performing at the 2020 Boots & Hearts Music Festival

This is not Eric Church’s first appearance at Boots & Hearts, but it’s always an absolute blast to see him perform. Eric Church knows how to put on one hell of a show. He has a way of bringing the party with his rowdy style and energized performance. He had the crowd roaring back in 2015, and will no doubt have the crowd even more excited this Summer. You’re going to want to catch the Chief playing this year – especially if you haven’t seen him perform before.

Dan + Shay

Dan + Shay have been having a wild couple of years. They have exploded as smash crossover artists – particularly with their latest collaboration with Justin Bieber. “10,000” hours has been everywhere, and they just won a Grammy for their single “Speechless”. To say they’re going to draw a crowd is a total understatement. The last time they played at Boots & Hearts Music Festival was back in 2017 where they were meant to open for Keith Urban. A big storm resulted in them playing the after-party after Keith Urban’s set – and it was truly amazing. We’re very excited to have them back to Simcoe County at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds.

Jon Pardi

Jon Pardi, a fast-rising country superstar and one of the festival’s most fan-requested artists will have the crowd “Head over Boots” right out the gate. Jon has been aggressively making a name for himself within the industry for the last few years. His shows are filled with energy and will for sure make the crowd go wild. Boots & Hearts is listing Jon Pardi as a co-headliner with Dustin Lynch.

Dustin Lynch

Dustin Lynch is headlining the 2020 Boots & Hearts Music Festival

The crowd at Boots & Hearts is going to go wild for Dustin Lynch. Everywhere he performs, there are groups of people screaming for him – both men and women. Consistently scoring industry recognition, Dustin Lynch has had over a billion music
streams. He’s a great artist and sure knows how to put on a show. He is co-headlining with Jon Pardi – it’s unclear weather they will be appearing together for a while on the stage, or how the co-headlining title will work.

Brothers Osborne

The 2020 Boots & Hearts Music Festival will include Brothers Osborne

This brotherly duo will be playing at this year’s festival and they will be sure to put on a great show. They are known for their high energy, deep voices, and catchy tunes. Seven of their singles have charted on Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay, their highest peak belonging to “Stay a Little Longer”, which charted at No. 4 on the former and No. 2 on the latter. These two put on a great show, and you’re not going to want to miss it.

Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara playing at Boots & Hearts 2020

Alessia Cara is one of the unexpected artist for this year’s festival announcement. She’s one of Canada’s top female artists, and a fantastic artist. But, she’s not a country artist. That said, she has just won a Grammy, and announced as this year’s JUNO host. She’s an incredible artist, and a wonderful performer. So, before you dismiss seeing her at this year’s festival, we would recommend giving her a chance and to enjoy great music.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
