Welcome back for another season finale of On the Porch with Front Porch Music! Four seasons in, tons of incredible guests, and our first CCMA nomination. What a special year!

Our season four finale guest is none other than James Barker, front man for James Barker Band.

In this episode, we dove into all things songwriting, JBB’s humble beginnings (spoiler: Oshawa dive bars), and life as a songwriter in Nashville.

We also talked about the new James Barker Band album, titled One Of Us and even forced James to pick his top three favourites from the album. James Barker Band is currently on the Buckle Up Tour sponsored by Bud Light. They’re touring coast to coast this fall. Be sure to catch them in your hometown!

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
