“Cool With That” is a fun song that’s perfect to play in any summer activity … a BBQ, a bonfire, or even just sitting on the front porch.
It’s a song that shows the playful side of Alexis’ songwriting and vocal talent.
It’s a song about a new relationship … that time in a relationship when you can’t get enough of each other. “It’s a fun, flirty tune about that ‘puppy love’ stage of a relationship,” Alexis Taylor details. “It’s about that stage where you just can’t get enough of each other.”
The music video for “Cool With That” is going to leave you with a smile on your face. It’s a playful interpretation of the lyrics and stars Alexis and her handsome dog as her co-star … the dog adds an extra dose of cute to the music video.
Alexis wanted to make sure that the video reflected who she is when she is not on the road and on stage. “A lot of the scenes from ‘Cool With That’ were filmed in my hometown,” says Alexis “so it was nice to be able to include where I grew up in my music video. Where I’m from is a big part of who I am, and has made me the person I am today!”
