Canadian country artist Justine Blanchet has released her latest single “Heartbeat”. It’s a fun song and a great follow-up to her previous single “Strong”.
From the beginning of the song, right through to the end, there’s a fun and upbeat vibe to it. In fact, It’s hard to listen to the song without tapping your toes, or bobbing your head along with the beat. The lyrics and melody are also super catchy. It’s a song that is perfect for listening to on repeat.
Although it’s catchy, the message behind “Heartbeat” is what really makes this song special. It has a message behind it that is a great reminder for everyone. It’s about loving someone for what is really important. It’s not just about the superficial things like looks or anything like that; but rather, loving them for what really counts. For what’s on the inside – their “heartbeat”.
Music Video for “Heartbeat”
Along with the release of the single, Justine Blanchet has also released the music video for “Heartbeat” and it’s just as much fun as the single itself. It does a great job interpreting and amplifying the message of the song.
As a nod to Justine’s Quebec roots, the music video starts with a brief acting scene in French, which is really awesome to see in a country music video! It then leads into a love story with the message from the song. Falling for a guy who may not be the best at many things, but he’s the best for her.
There are many moments in the video that make you go “awww”.

Her writing style is authentic. It’s been noted that she frequently draws on her own life experiences when she’s writing new music. She’s also fuelled by a strong desire to connect with people through music: “I like to tell stories and write about what I know. Listen to “Heartbeat” by Justine Blanchet
In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
