Canadian country artist Jess Moskaluke has earned her first number one single at country radio with her latest single “Country Girls”. Congrats to Jess Moskaluke and her team!
Jess Moskaluke may have 3 female artist of the year awards from the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA), a CCMA for Album of the Year, and a Juno Award for Country Album of the Year, but she has just received her very first number 1 song at Canadian country radio for her latest single “Country Girls”.
This incredibly talented country artist has had so many fantastic singles that we were surprised that this was her very first number 1 song. It seems to us as though she should have had a handful by now with all the great songs she has released. But, “Country Girls” has been performing well at the charts and has earned Jess the most coveted spot on the charts.
Jess published a lengthy post to Instagram when the news dropped about “Country Girls” going #1.
It’s a great song that has earned its spot at the top of the charts. From all of us here at Front Porch Music, HUGE congrats to Jess Moksaluke!

Lyrics to “Country Girls” by Jess Moskaluke
Maybe it’s the fact we grew up
Wilder than a field of horses
Or the way we can rise with the sun
And still rock till 2 in the morning
Yeah, if you wonder where
Them down home boys will be
It ain’t no mystery
If you’re looking for bees just go find honey
If you’re looking for rich folks, go find money, oh, oh
It’s the same all around the world
Country boys love country girls
(Country boys love country girls)
(Country boys love country girls)
Maybe it’s the way we can hang
Drink-for-drink with the guys at the dive bar
Or the way our kisses taste strawberry wine sweet
That makes ’em wanna be wherever we are
If you’re looking for bees just go find honey
If you’re looking for rich folks, go find money, oh, oh
It’s the same all around the world
Country boys love country girls
Like a moth into a fire
It’s just a natural desire, oh, oh
It’s the same all around the world
Country boys love country girls
Yeah, if you wonder where
Them down home boys will be
It ain’t no mystery
If you’re looking for bees just go find honey
If you’re looking for rich folks, go find money, oh, oh
It’s the same all around the world
Country boys love country girls
It don’t matter what we’re wearin’
Yeah, when we’re dancin’ they’ll be starin’, oh, oh
It’s the same all around the world
Country boys love country girls
(Country boys love country girls)
(Country boys love country girls)
(Country boys love country girls)
(Country boys love country girls)
In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
