One thing we love to do at Front Porch Music, is to introduce you all to emerging Canadian country artists. We are pleased to introduce you all to country artist Shawn Richard from New Brunswick and his debut single “All My Tomorrow’s”.
“All My Tomorrow’s” is an incredibly catchy tune that is easy to sing along to, and features a chorus that just as easily gets stuck in your head. This song is essentially about the one that got away. Two people who used to be together, fell out of each other’s lives, then came back to one another’s lives 3 years later to pick it up where they left off. After all the time apart, Shawn declares that he wants this person to be all of his tomorrow’s.
We chatted with Shawn a bit about this single. “I have had a lot of ups and downs in my life and had thought I’d found the perfect love. Sometimes we are blinded by what you think is the right thing to do.” Shawn continues, “This song was about someone I thought was the one. I thought my life would be nothing without them, but quickly realized that you are your own special person and don’t have to be what someone else wants you to be. This song is about trying to get someone back after 3 years, and succeeding.”
He also teased us by saying that this was part 1 to the song. Part 2 will tell us what happened after they got back together. Can’t wait to hear what happened!

Born in St. Stephen, NB, Shawn is a Canadian country artist. Located in New Brunswick, Shawn has appeared on many stages around the province. Known for his love of music, he enjoys connecting with audiences and using lyrics as a way to express himself and what matters to him.
In 2017, Shawn opened up for Blue Rodeo and in the same year won Saint John Idol. Shawn has gone on to participate as a judge, providing feedback and mentoring to aspiring musicians. Being a part of the music community is important to Shawn as a way to network and support his fellow musicians.
With a love of country music, Shawn has been exploring Nashville. Like many Canadian country artists, he considers Nashville his second home. Enjoying the sights and sounds of the “music city”, each visit deepens his love for music and provides energy to channel into his craft.
Born into a musical family and developing a love of singing and songwriting, Shawn has felt drawn to the stage from an early age. Hi family gatherings always featured a guitar, so it didn’t take long for him to develop a passion for performing.
