The debut single “All Over It” from Ben Chase, was released January 4th of this year and we’re loving it!
The 21-year old, PEI native moved to Alberta in 2017 in hot pursuit of his country music career. His first song has not disappointed, and in fact made its way to number one on the Canadian Country iTunes chart on the day of its release.
“All Over It” debuts Chase’s pop-country vibe, catchy lyrics and is of course – a breakup song. “All Over It” is just that; over the girl, over the relationship, over the late-night thoughts about what went wrong. The track’s intro catches your attention with a powerful electric guitar that really sets a platform for Chase’s voice to really showcase. The verses are tame and filled with bubbly, however sassy rhymes, but would build to a catchy chorus.
Chase cites Old Dominion as a primary influence to his sound. The heavy guitars paired with playful, but meaningful lyrics in his first track really show the parallel in how he wants his sound to come across similar to bands like Old Dominion.
What’s great about this is while they do hover mostly in the pop-country genre, the rock influence country has had will come through, especially with talented musicians.
“All Over It” is a phenomenal kick-off to Ben Chase’s career, and will be added to my Summer 2019 playlist as soon as the snow is gone! Follow Ben Chase on Instagram and Twitter
It’s going to be an exciting Summer for Ben Chase. It was announced that Ben Chase will be playing the 2019 Cavendish Beach Music Festival.

In country music, the Front Porch has long been a place of reflection. A place where you can look at the life you have inside that front door. A place where time almost seems to stand still, where you can get away. It’s also a place where you can go to observe the world as it passes by you. To think about your place out there beyond the driveway.
